   Features of Quick Undelete :

  • Quick Undelete only operates within your current Modeling session. If you Delete or Erase a member, then File > Exit , you cannot undelete that member using Quick Undelete . Use Undelete or Visual Undelete if you want to get that member back.
  • Quick Undelete undeletes the last member that was deleted. If multiple members were simultaneously deleted, it undeletes all of those members. You can invoke Quick Undelete again if you want to undelete more members. Quick Undelete undeletes the last-deleted member first, then the next-to-last deleted member, and so on.
  • You do not have to be in the view that shows the member(s). Quick Undelete recovers the last-deleted member or group of members even if you can't see them.
  • You cannot undelete a member whose member line exactly aligns with the member line of a member that currently exists in the model. Instead of undeleting the member, Quick Undelete gives you the following warning: " Unable to undelete member [num] due to overlap with member [num] ." However, you can undelete a member whose member line is, for example, parallel to but 1 inch away from a member in the model -- it is your responsibility to ensure that the materials of members do not clash.
  • If you or somebody else did an Undelete or Visual Undelete of a member, Quick Undelete does not recover that member. It will, however, recover the member that was deleted before that member if you invoke Quick Undelete again.
  • If you have not deleted any members in your current session of Modeling , or if you have already undeleted all the members that you previously deleted, then Quick Undelete does nothing.
  • Once a member has been undeleted, it and the members it connects to automatically undergo Process and Create Solids if " Automatically process after modeling operation " is ' Process and create solids '.
  • Member undeletion is automatically logged if the box for " Member operations " under " Job " is checked in Event Logging Setup . The undeletion of members is recorded to the " Log " tab that is found on the Job Custom Properties window ( Home > Project Settings > Job > Job Property Settings ). It is also recorded to the " Log " tab of the undeleted member.
